da-dam

nice little loop you got there. you should try and make a song in this style.

just kill off this annoying sound in the background... ye know.. the one that sounds like rubbing glasses...

hjcrbass responds:

hahahaha... sorry I just visualize me killing a sound... literally XD
anyways, many people have ask for a song version, so I guess some day I will.
Thanks for the review VisionsOfDoom/.

???

ok... this is not classical. definitely. plus it's a remix, a nice one though. but the fact that it's a remix makes everything even worse.

sry but still 6/10 only

MoonlitRaven responds:

relax its a remix first, the original did not have a guitar nor a piano, nor the same tempo, and also its classical??? where have you been. clasical doesn't mean old, it means, acoustic intruments, commonly piano, strings, and brass, you see if there was an Acoustic genre I would of put it in there!

nice

sounds like waves on a misty morning at sea, would make a good soundtrack in a movie... as a piece of music only it might need to be a bit more varied, a shift to another tonality maybe and a middle section that goes with it, just a lil somethin to entertain the listener^^

im giving this 5/5 and 9/10 for still being a flawless work thats got great potential to it.

cheers ^^

bnamdar responds:

Thank You! :D I'll try to make more varied next time :D

sooo..

its simple. like reeaaally simple. and thats the beauty of it. nothing specatular. must be relaxing to play, though. kinda gives me a peaceful and warm feeling.

and i rate it 7 out 10 only, because it didnt challenge my ears, if you know what I mean.

MarkySpark responds:

Thanks for the review, I look forward to your first upload.

cool

this is.. exceptional. normally I dont listen to this genre. but, i have to say, this one really rocks! i dont know mega man so i cant anything about any musical references you made here, but it sounds pretty cool anyways.

NemesisTheory responds:

Wow, thanks! I'm sad to hear you don't know Mega Man, because it really is awesome! <3

I'm still happy you liked it though! :D

interesting

kinda like it... dont know really what to say about it. somehow this sounds like a collage, all the ideas just connect with each other .... somehow. still sounds great. definitely makes me think. strange... well maybe im too cracked out right know to get a real grip of it, so Im just gonna come back later a listen to it again.

all in all 9/10

Gravey responds:

Well despite the fact you don't really know what to say about this piece, you said some nice things about it. :-)

Thanks.

cool.

really like this one. i dont know how i could possibly rate this any lower than 10/10! though I think you used some quite common motifs there, which I heard before in some Sci-Fi film but dont know which... but then, this is just how film-music writing works, isnt it? you cause associations by using certain colors like the trumpet and the percussion. or the intervalls in the strings at around 1:40... fascinating.
but, I have to ask, for which film actually did you compose this?

SilentTakedown responds:

Im glad you like my songs. :)
This is for a movie I mustn't talk about. My lips are sealed, sorry.
I decided to make this song rather mainstreamish with common motifs yeah. The director's template was actually such a stereotypical scifi score and I made her one like that.
Music gives you unlimited ways to capture scenes differently. I also could have done something more uncommon or more evil or whatnot.
Thanks for reviewing!

wow!

this is amazing. both sound and the composition itself. im sure youre gonna be somebody someday if you keep this up! how much did you pay for sibelius? im looking to buy it as well, but dont know if i can afford it.

SilentTakedown responds:

I used Sibelius to make the midi of this, then put it into a cubase project and edited and mixed it. You can also use paper and pen instead of Sibelius if it's too expensive. But writing on scores is much easier than with programs like Cubase, believe me! :)
Thanks for reviewing!
